Compact Sony Phone’s are Staging a Comeback
Rumors suggest that this phone could be as small as 5.6 inches diagonal, but its more likely to be 5.8 inches. Either way, Sony Xperia 5ii will be a compact phone. Sony Xperia 5 ii Release Date
The prediction right now is that the release date will be in the 3rd quarter of 2020. Most likely at the time of Berlin IFA. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, it is most likely that IFA is not going to happen this year. Either way, the announcement should be in September.
Sony Xperia 5 ii Specs
Sony Xperia 5 II will come with a 5.8” OLED display having screen resolution 2220×1080 pixels. It will have a great viewing experience where the pixel density of 425 PPI adds crispness and clarity. The display comes with a bezel-less design. It is most likely that it will have a 90HZ refresh rate.
The smartphone has 12MP, 12MP, and 12MP rear cameras that can capture classic pictures with a bright and clear look. At the front, there is a 8MP camera, which is a rather better camera to capture selfies.
Sony Xperia 5 II will be provided with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or 865 + (5G version) chipset. Which will offer the best performance for gaming and other usages. The first thing we don’t know is color, right now we don’t know what color variant it will come with, but black and white will for sure be included. Price is another thing we don’t know but don’t expect it to be cheaper than Xperia 5($800). The third is design, but be sure it will have a bezel-less screen.

New Xperia 5 II will make a perfect compact phone for all people that are looking for a smaller screen phone with flagship specifications. It’s likely to be popular between compact phone lovers as if Sony keeps al the flagship specs mentioned this might be the compact king in 2020.
