Galaxy Buds X: Noise Cancellation for $140? Rumors

Last Updated on

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds X will be the next major rival to Apple’s AirPods Pro($249) and Google Pixel Buds 2($179), but cheaper.

Many leaks have already shown that Samsung is working on a new pair of earbuds with active noise cancellation.
New trademark granted by US Patent Office has confirmed Galaxy Buds X and its arrival. South Korean publication Maeil recently noted that new Buds X will cost somewhere around $140.

What is noise cancellation?

Noise cancellation is reducing unwanted ambient sounds using active noise control. It works by using microphones to pick up low-frequency noise and neutralize it before it reaches the ear. Earbuds generate a sound that’s canceling unwanted sounds. More about it.

AirPods Pro vs Galaxy buds X

It is very likely that they will beat the Airpods Pro on the market because they will have the same features for $100 less. However, some Apple users will still choose Airpods Pro.

Features

Noise cancellation-Reducing unwanted ambient sounds using active noise control.

Big battery life-Galaxy Buds plus have 22hrs of sound so it is most likely that Buds X will have the same if not more.

Sound quality-Premium sound by AKG delivers superb dynamic range and exceptional sound accuracy thanks to the woofer and tweeter inside each bud.

Size-Galaxy Buds X will come with the adjustable ear tip and wingtip sizes right from the box. Whether you running or dancing to your favorite tune, you are ensured the best possible fit.

Water resistance-Can handle splashes, a little swear and even the accidental spill.

Control with a touch-Easily switch tracks, take a call, or turn up the volume with a touch. Music automatically pauses when you remove your Galaxy Buds X and resumes with a tap when you place them back in your ears.

Compatibility- Galaxy Buds X pair with both Android and iOS compatible smartphones via Bluetooth connection.

Release date

There are some speculations that the new Galaxy Buds X will be released along with Samsung Note 20 series, which will come out in August 2020.

Is Noise Cancelling worth it?

Yes. If you need earbuds to reduce the background noise and allow you to hear the sounds you want to hear. They will help you sleep in a noisy vehicle or listening to audio without raising the volume excessively, but with this fancy feature comes a higher price.
